Our clients moved from a historic Victorian home to this new construction. We created a palette and design that integrated their extensive art collection into their home, creating moments that were reminiscent of their old home while embracing the architectural qualities of their new home.

The large volumes of brightly lit spaces, were designed to capture the light and our layering of furnishings included rich velvets, leather and wood tones that added a textured, modern organic feel. We took our color cues from the art and selected sculptural elements that told a story. Our client plays the harp, which was the central theme of the ‘music room’. That room intentionally has a feminine touch.

As they reminisced their older home, I created a study/library and dining room with a similar more saturated Victorian palette. The lower ceilings and smaller spaces, allowed it to evolve into cozy spaces almost theatrical in nature.

The clients wanted a more serene palette for their master bedroom that was achieved using a soft green paint to complement their existing furniture, while we curated an exclusive Laverne Table from our personal inventory to create a comfortable seating area.

We enjoyed working with our clients to create this very personal and authentic home for them.
